Sounds tasty! I'm always a fan of looking for Italian restaurants when I'm on the road. However, I'd love to see some suggestions as to actual restaurant names.

Since I'm Italian, whenever I'm on the road I need to make sure I can get a dose of "home cooking." I had no idea Seattle had so much good cooking to offer. I'm definitely going to make a point to visit Belltown and try all this delicious food.

I love the mix of the old and the new. Sometimes you want the taste of something so wonderful and homestyle. And sometimes you want something indulgent or edgy. Sign me up.

I am reminded of the spaghetti scene in Lady & The Tramp. Let's go have a romantic dinner!

The Pink Door in Post Alley has some of the most amazing lasagna I have ever had. The layers of spinach pasta and cheese will surely melt in your mouth. The atmosphere is great for a romantic evening or for a night out with friends.

When it comes to eating out I can get really picky about the food. So these are some spots that are good. Not sure how much this will help a month later...
To get the old school classic Italian in a nice place you should visit Lampreia. This chef is the "godfather" of Italian food in Belltown. Very expensive, if your down with that.
Tavolata for family style dining with a trendy atmosphere serves till one. Mostly single prof. that dont mind dropping 50 bucks or so for good wine, decent food, and great company. (you will be stuffed by the end)
There is more than italian food. For example Cascadia does really nice food that is pretty much solid and seasonal.
Marjorie has a great tiki masala with tasty sweets.
Black bottle is a good place to go when its not jam packed. this means sunday or monday.
Flying fish is a classic
oh yeah.. one word PICHET!
